Here’s a chance to connect with two staff from Biosecurity New Zealand who have a mandate to help boaties with their biosecurity practices and concerns.
Kylie Pedersen and Jackie Bedford are leading the Clean Vessel Programme, which started in 2022 with baseline funding, with the overall objective of preventing spread of harmful invasive seaweeds and pests.
Jackie will present on the Protect Our Paradise campaign that is being rolled out this summer.
Kylie will discuss initiatives to provide boaties with the tools and capability they need.
